About the Governance Committee
Welcome to the first pension newsletter, brought to you by the Thales Pension Governance Committee. Our aim is to ensure the smooth running of the pension scheme so that it continues to meet the needs of its members.
We are pleased to share this newsletter summarising the key highlights of our scheme and relevant pension topics to help you get the most out of your pension plan. We know that pensions can be a complex subject, but we hope this newsletter will help you gain a better understanding about your long term savings plan.
The Role of the Committee
The Committee has a responsibility to ensure that Plan is properly administered and to make recommendations to the Company in this regard. Its role includes the likes of: monitoring the performance of the scheme administrator and advisers; reviewing the default fund’s performance; production of member communications; considering what improvements could be made; and dealing with such other matters as the Company may delegate to it from time to time.
