About the Scheme

  • The Ecclesiastical pension scheme is a Group Self-Invested Pension Plan provided by Scottish Widows.
  • New joiners are enrolled to contribute 3% of basic salary and Ecclesiastical will contribute 8%.
  • By default, your contributions are deducted via Salary sacrifice.
  • The scheme annual management charge is 0.49%* for those invested in the scheme's default fund - The Ecclesiastical Flexible Lifestyle Strategy.
  • You can review and change your contribution level and how you pay your contributionons on your benefits portal here.

*There isn’t an AMC at scheme level. Rather each fund has its own fund charge. The AMC for members in the default fund up to 10 years before retirement age is 0.49% (plus additional expenses).
